Green Green Grass By The River

"Rainy days now here in Malacca, remind me of Monsoon season back then when I was in Terengganu".

November approaching and I've been dragging much time -- adapting to new place, new environment -- Malacca.

It's been roughly 7 months ever since I moved here from Terengganu.
Surely, I missed my hometown in Selangor and KL more than everywhere else.

Somehow I'm thankful that
I'm everywhere since,
I never like to be at the same spot
and be safe at my comfort zone!

It took me sometimes to cherish Malacca is the place that I should be called my home for now.

Even though Malacca geographically located not very far away from Klang Valley
(but, I am a true SELANGORIAN TOTOK and I am homesick).

Or perhaps, I miss Terengganu more than KL and Klang Valley area in Selangor!

I miss Pasar Payang
vintage classic cafe house
and the calmness,
and the serene,
beautiful stunning beaches.

But nevertheless, for sure
sometimes...
whenever
I'm far away,
I find me reminiscing and
imagining myself at my all time favorites
shopping place/bookstores.

I miss metropolitan and urban city malls
above anything else matters. Ish ish ish.

As for now,
I suggest me to stop day dreaming
and let me just embrace my journey
from East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia
to the southern part
and be grateful
that I had so much freedom
to live a life and to be alive
to be able, to breathe,
and stay alive.

The environment are much different
from Terengganu 'tenang vibes'--
Every morning,
I greet the sun and birds
engaging with nature and beaches.

In contrary here at my new place,
it took me long hours
to reach my destinations
due to dozens of traffic lights
at every corner of Malacca city.

They say, "This is Malacca. Welcome to
Malacca Darul Traffic Light".

From greeting sunny beaches every morning
to chaotic traffic jammed situations.

I'm simply shock and headache! Hahahaha

I truely missed sotong celop tepung
coconut tress and sandy beaches.

Taking consideration on this matters,
I don't think I ever meant to live in the city.

Maybe I shall come back to nature and serene beaches. Haha.

Wait for me
Just you wait!

But as for now,
I'm fine on my own and I'll be balance--

I cultivate my joy. Yeah.
I shall explore Malacca soon.

Embrace Malacca! Haha

Sincerely
L.D Bertenang
